A fairytale afternoon

My designer friend Cecilie Melli sure knows how to throw a party! She provides the best locations, drinks and sweets to any show – and that’s not even mentioning her actual runway show! This time her venue was the Hotel Continental in the heart of Oslo, that had cooked up the most beautiful ambiance of flowers, cakes and live music.
Her wedding dressed are really the kind that dreams are made of. She uses only the best lace, silks and beading and there is _a_lot_ of hand embroidery done on every dress. Just have a look at my selection below!

My youngest was slightly more interested in the treats and goodie bags, but my two eldest fully enjoyed it all. I took the opportunity to wear my new Tara Jarmon coat as that felt in line with the theme. It’s cream colored, with cute bows on the chest, so I’ve promised myself to only wear it to dressed up occasions. Turns out that the four of us dressed exactly according to the surroundings: cream, black, cerice and peach it was!

We ended our Sunday in town with petits fours at the “Dagligstuen” of Hotel Continental. Some times too much of a good thing is just enough!
