Nothing feels more easy than to throw on a sweater when the temperatures drop. It’s warm and comfy so it’s a pretty obvious choice. That doesn’t mean you need to appear shapeless as an effect. At least not all of the time.
Because the sweater here is in a wool mix, it is pretty warm all on its own. So I can afford a little less on my lower part, for instance a leather skirt and tights-high boots. Even tough fashion has been screaming tigh-high boots for many season already, meaning you should be totally in the clear wearing them, I still feel you risk having a “Pretty Woman” moment, sending all kinds of wrong signals, if you don’t mix it up right. For me that means always being well covered over chest and arms.
Adding some girlie details like pearl earrings and a velvet band further adds to the balance. My last touch is a dressed-up Chloé bag that says class, not sass. The final verdict I leave to you.
