Being a fashion designer means always keeping the pulse on what’s new and interpret it into your own work. Still, it’s hard to rid yourself of your own natural taste. I know I have one. Until now it did not include wide midi-length skirts. The challenge about them is that they cut your legs in a place where it doesn’t exactly elongate them. So I passed. Until I found this one:
The pattern and the fluid waves of it are just so beautiful I had to give it a go. Teamed with opaque tights and a cuddly wool sweater, the ensemble brightens my day, keeps me warm and is wonderfully comfortable to wear. What a Kinder-egg!
I wore it on the grey day of yesterday, going a bit matchy-matchy with my shoes from France and turquoise earrings. I know I will never wear this skirt with anything but high heels to make sure I stay comfortably away form the bag lady silhouette….
I was attending the breakfast fashion-show of Polhem, We were served beautiful little treats, Kusmi tea and seated amid a flush of greenery. Thank you for the hospitality guys <3
For a closer look at the fashion show I recommend my fellow photographer friend Hanne Erøy’s post
