It’s time for that awkward transition again. The moment when it’s not really winter but still not quite spring. How to bare it?! Wear some spring colours, some new silhouettes, but stick to warm items, and – voilà – you create some much needed spring energy.
Above I’m wearing just that. Green and mint in combination says spring but black tights and boots keeps the outfit rooted in winter. The green mini is from & Other stories. I’m simply loving this green shade these days, and I’ll be using it with other strong colours further on. I also think it is a seasonless item, which makes so much sense in these environmentally challenged times.
The sweater from Haaning and Thoon is wonderfully soft and warm but the full swing of it cannot be held under a jacket. Thus it is my go-to spring sweater (sadly they recently put their H & T brand to rest, but my friend Marianne is doing wonderful things for Carlings just now. Watch out!).
I often get the question how do I keep warm in seemingly lightweight outfits. The answer is always the same: lightweight wool! You cannot see my long-sleeved, wool top underneath here, but that’s what’s keeping me warm in the chilled March air.
